Community Response Teams
Published 8th September 2006, 3:57pm
The Disaster Preparedness Unit of the European Commission for Humanitarian Aid Office (DIPECHO) is funding a project in the Cayman Islands, with the Cayman Islands Red Cross (CIRC), that aims to help establish Community Disaster Response Teams (CDRTs). Volunteers are needed to assist in collecting data in West Bay for a vulnerability and capacity assessment.
- Are you willing to be part of this dynamic team that is working to make West Bay safe, prepared and ready?
- Are you concerned for your community?
- Is your community prepared for a disaster?
- Are you willing to commit your time to assess the needs and resources in your community?
Please come to an important meeting on Saturday, 9 September 2006, 10am, at the Department of Children and Family Services Office in West Bay, located near the John A Cumber Primary School Hall.
