The National Hurricane Centre in Miami, Florida is issuing advisories on Tropical Storm IDA. Which at 4 pm was located near 12.0 N 82.7 W or 75 miles west to southwest of San Andres Island. IDA maximum sustained winds near 60 mph and is moving towards the west to northwest near 6 mph.

A turn toward the northwest and a decrease in forward speed is expected over the next couple of days. On the forecast track...Ida should make landfall along the east coast of Nicaragua overnight.

THIS SYSTEM POSES NO IMMEDIATE THREAT TO THE CAYMAN ISLANDS. THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE WILL CONTINUE TO MONITOR ITS PROGRESS.
