The National Hurricane Center in Miami Florida has issued an advisory on Tropical Depression Tomas, which at 10 a.m. was located near 14.1 N 75.9 W or about 275 miles south-southeast of Kingston Jamaica. Tomas is currently moving towards the west-northwest near 6 mph with max sustained winds near 35 mph.

THIS STORM POSES NO IMMEDIATE THREAT TO THE CAYMAN ISLANDS. However, all interests within the Cayman Islands should continue to monitor the progress of this storm as the current forecast track continues to move Tomas on a northwesterly track with a northward turn expected tonight.
