At approximately 8 am local time a 4.5 M earthquake occurred 64 miles East South East of East End, Grand Cayman. No reports of damage from the small tremor, no felt reports received from the Department of Public Safety Communications 911.

Minor tremors are relatively common in our region and are generally no cause for concern and no threat to residents.
