Cayman’s residents and visitors have access to one of the best health care networks in the region. During storms, the Health Services Authority and the Red Cross contribute their expertise and resources to the NHC’s Medical Relief subcommittee.

Post-disaster recovery and restoration efforts activate additional Government agencies. Public Health keeps track of communicable disease occurrence, Caribbean Haven contributes counselors and the Department of Environmental Health ensures residents have the information and support to clean up homes and businesses and resume life safely.
