Tremor Felt

Small Tremor Felt in Cayman

HMCI can confirm that a small tremor was detected on the local seismographs at 11.05 am on March 1, 2010.

Some residents felt the tremor and evacuated buildings.

The magnitude of the tremor has not yet been determined and the event has not been posted on the USGS website. HMCI will provide further details including the strength and location of the event as soon as it is available.
